Rugby Oldham is a democratic, member-owned Supporters Trust committed to strengthening and safeguarding the future of rugby league in our town. We exist to give supporters a voice, support Oldham RLFC and help secure long-term stability for the game locally.
Our story
Built by Supporters, for Supporters
When Watersheddings was lost in the late 1990s, many feared Oldham rugby league had lost part of its identity. In 2005, supporters came together at a public meeting in the Queen Elizabeth Hall to consider what could be done. The result was the formation of Rugby Oldham.
Formally constituted in 2006, Rugby Oldham became a Supporters Trust, a fully democratic, member-owned cooperative run on a one-member-one-vote basis. Since then, the Trust has worked to represent supporters and promote the long-term future of rugby league in Oldham.

We promote and support the development of rugby league across Oldham, including amateur and junior sections of the game.
Governance
A Democratic, Member-Owned Trust
Rugby Oldham is run by an elected board chosen by members on a one-member-one-vote basis.
Members are encouraged to stand for election, attend meetings and play an active role in shaping the Trust’s direction.
